Comparing portfolio value in TRY, USD and EUR

Understand currency conversion, data timing and why the same portfolio can change differently when measured in TRY, USD or EUR.

Value724 product guide · 9 October 2026

What does the display currency change?

A display currency provides a common measure for adding the values of different assets. Selecting TRY, USD or EUR does not change an asset’s pricing currency or the asset itself. In the app, this is a display and calculation preference.

A simple currency-conversion example

Suppose a holding is worth USD 1,000 and USD/TRY is 40. Its TRY equivalent is TRY 40,000. If its USD value stays unchanged but the rate rises to 42, the TRY equivalent becomes TRY 42,000. This alone does not mean the asset gained value in USD. These figures are illustrative.

Asset price and exchange rate both matter

Changes in total value depend on quantities, source prices and conversion rates. The TRY value of a portfolio can rise while its USD or EUR value moves differently. A display-currency selection is not an investment strategy or a return guarantee.

Consider the timing of all data

Asset prices and exchange rates may update at different times. Holidays, market hours and source delays can affect a total. Before any transaction, independently check the price and rate with the institution you will use. A Value724 total is not a promise of an executable price.

How is this used in Value724?

You can select TRY, USD or EUR in the app’s portfolio-total view. The example on the landing page contains illustrative data; it is not your actual portfolio or a live exchange-rate calculation. See the portfolio-tracking guide for the basic recordkeeping steps.
